Your new role
1. Be the financial partner of the Sales & Bid Team throughout the offer process:
  • Verify sales conditions, prices, and compliance with legal and corporate standards.
  • Review and validate cost estimates, offers, and tender-related documentation.
  • Facilitate contract signing and streamline order documentation and processing.
  • Drive the Offer Release Process, ensuring compliance with signature mandates.
  • Oversee risk and opportunity management in bids and contracts.
  • Analyze and negotiate contracts, focusing on commercial terms and deviations.
  • Manage post-tender clarifications and lead contract negotiations.
2. Drive financial topics within the offer process:
  • Formulate and follow up on cooperation agreements.
  • Ensure compliance with the Limits of Authority process and relevant commercial guidelines.
  • Develop comprehensive bidding documents with accurate calculations.
3. Be responsible for overall financial topics related to the sales process:
  • Collaborate with sales, business development, and cross-functional teams.
  • Manage financial KPIs and escalate significant changes proactively.
  • Analyze customer data to develop sales strategies and business models.
  • Maintain customer relationships and ensure timely commercial operations for key accounts.
Your profile
  • Law, Ethics, and Compliance in Finance: Expertise in legal and ethical frameworks in finance.
  • Bid, Contract & Claim Management: Experience in managing bids, contracts, and claims.
  • Business Acumen & Strategic Mindset: Strong understanding of business processes and financial impacts.
  • Business Models for Finance: Proficiency in developing and assessing business models.
  • Contract and Limits of Authority (LoA) Management: Knowledge of contract management and compliance.
  • Cost Structure & Cost Drivers: Expertise in analyzing and managing cost structures.
  • Proposal Management Methods: Skilled in managing proposals from preparation to submission.
  • Risk, Opportunity & Issue Management: Ability to identify, evaluate, and mitigate risks and seize opportunities.
  • Sales and Customer Development: Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Language skills: Fluent in Dutch, French, and English.
  • Teamwork and Collaboration: Strong team player with cross-departmental collaboration skills.
