Hays is currently looking for a GL accountant to strengthen the finance team of our partner in the region Antwerp.

Your responsibilities:

You will be responsible for overseeing the complete accounting operations of your designated company.
Assume responsibility for Balance Sheet analysis and monthly reconciliation
You will prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end internal and group reports.
You will participate in the annual budgeting process and in the annual external audit process.

Your qualifications:

You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting
You already have a few years of experience as GL Accountant
You have strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
You can speak and write fluently in English.
A good knowledge of balance sheet analysis, monthly, quarterly, and yearly closing processes, IFRS, and reconciliations. SAP experience is advantageous;
A team player who thrives in an international environment.
