• Provide legal expertise on Non-Life Retail insurance matters (Car, Fire, or Family Liability).
• Support operational teams (Underwriting and Claims) and assist in drafting, reviewing, and terminating supplier contracts and other legal documents for Insurance Procurement and Claims Solutions teams.
• Identify operational risks and propose process improvements.
• Draft instructional notes based on legislation and case law for managers, and create guides and training materials.
• Assist Offer Retail teams in drafting general conditions.
• Act as the first line of defense on Compliance, Privacy, and GDPR matters.
• Conduct legal monitoring, follow daily updates and analyze regulations (including federal, regional, and European legislative projects).
• Follow and analyze case law, making it available to relevant teams.
• Compile monthly legal information for various departments on legislative and case law developments.
• Keep your legal knowledge up-to-date through on-the-job training and formal education.

• Master's degree in Law.
• 5 to 7 years of professional experience as a Legal Expert in Non-Life insurance.
• Fluency in Dutch or French, with a good understanding of the other national language.
• Structured approach with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently while being a team player.
• Enjoy sharing knowledge and experience.
• Strong interpersonal skills and solution-oriented mindset.

• Excellent knowledge in Car, Fire, or Family Liability insurance.
• Specialization in Privacy/GDPR or Compliance.
