Your new company

Our client is a fast-growing family business operating throughout the Benelux and France in the construction sector. The company specializes in the creation and processing of technical products for building and masonry contractors. To meet its customers' needs as effectively as possible, it has a design office in Herstal and is looking for a Civil/Industrial Engineer specializing in construction to join their team.

Your new role

Provide technical support to sales representatives to meet specific customer needs.
Contribute to the development of new products in response to recurring customer requests or on the company's own initiative. This includes feasibility, technical calculations, 2D and 3D modeling, qualification testing, applying for and monitoring certifications, operator training, etc.
Working with the various people in the design office (engineers, project managers, draughtsmen).
Ensure daily communication with the various departments (production, sales, quality, etc.).

Your profile

You have a Master's degree in civil construction engineering or industrial construction engineering.
You have at least 3 years' experience as an engineer in the construction field (design office/site/prefab).
You know how to read stability and architectural plans, you are familiar with the main technical products.
You know how to use CAD software or are keen to learn (AutoCad, Solidworks, ArchiCad, Revit, etc.).
You speak French and have a good level of English (minimum B2). Dutch is a serious asset!
You are able to use IT tools (MS Office).
You are a self-starter but also enjoy working in a team. You have an analytical mind and initiative. You have management skills and are innovative, creative, resourceful, precise and methodical.
