Your new role
As a Business Analyst, you'll play a crucial role in supporting our broker network (both retail and corporate) by managing projects from inception to completion. Your responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with users to understand their needs and drafting detailed specifications.
- Developing and maintaining analytical solutions using SAS and Power BI (primarily BOAR, also Life).
- Continuously enhancing our processes for better efficiency.
- Working closely with colleagues to ensure the seamless dissemination and publication of results on our intranet and extranet platforms.
- Organizing data validation and testing procedures.
- Creating and updating comprehensive documentation for your activities.
- Collecting, verifying, and analyzing data to provide strategic recommendations to management.
- Leveraging your data processing expertise to assess the impact on cross-functional projects.
Your profile
We are looking for a candidate who possesses:
- A master's degree in finance, management, economics, or a quantitative field such as actuarial science or mathematics.
- Proficiency in SAS, Power BI, and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong analytical skills, a knack for numbers, and a strategic mindset.
- Independence, methodical approach, and attention to detail in your work.
- Excellent planning and organizational abilities.
- A results-driven and proactive attitude.
- Resilience, the ability to work under pressure, and adaptability to management needs.
- Knowledge of insurance products is a plus.
- Quick learning ability and eagerness to acquire new knowledge.
- Fluency in Dutch or French, with a good command of the second national language and basic knowledge of English.
