Your new company is part of the engineering sector and is located in Brussels.

Your new role

As an AP Accountant, you will work in the office located in Brussels with your new colleagues in a team of 6 people. You will be responsible for monitoring the company's supplier invoices and ensuring the smooth running of the entire process related to them. You will also be the point of contact with external parties regarding payments.

Your Responsibilities

  • Reconcile the general ledger with the supplier sub-ledger (perform matching on certain non-automated accounts)
  • Verify payment proposals made by external teams
  • Process specific supplier invoices and verify their accuracy and completeness
  • Reconcile the company's accounts with those of suppliers and resolve any discrepancies or issues
  • Respond to requests from internal teams to correct accounts and resolve disputes
  • Assist with audits and compliance reviews
  • Verify and approve certain specific invoices
  • Act as the backup for the General Accountant for Belgium and Luxembourg
  • Analyze and clean supplier accounts

Your profile

  • Education: You have obtained a university degree related to Finance or Accounting
  • Languages: You are fluent in English and French
  • Experience: You have previous experience as an AP Accountant in an international group
  • Personality: You are autonomous and possess an analytical mindset
  • IT: You have previous experience with SAP
