For one of our clients in Beersel, Hays is looking for a Financial Controller. Your new role
As a Financial Controller, you will join our Finance team within the Buildings Business Unit in Beersel. In this role, you will support both domestic and export product businesses within the Sales Team. You will also provide financial and commercial support for the whole product sales cycle. Your primary responsibility will be to collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders. This role encompasses planning, financial controlling, and reporting activities to ensure the effective management of our business operations. Your responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary contact for the product business, managing contracts and liaising with customers.
- Assist new clients by clarifying contract terms and leading contract negotiations.
- Conduct financial reporting and perform quality audits on existing customer accounts.
- Analyze business growth and performance incentives, making adjustments to financial provisions as needed.
- Oversee credit management to maintain a healthy cash flow.
- Manage financial processes related to sales transactions.
- Handle accounts payable and receivable, including credit note approvals and financial analysis.
- Review and authorize customer quotations.
- Monitor and track marketing expenditures.
Your profile
- A degree in Business Engineering, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience in Finance, Contract and Client negotiation.
- Strong analytical skills with a critical and problem-solving mindset.
- Proficiency in working with numbers and financial data.
- Excellent communication skills and a strong affinity for sales.
- Fluent in French, Dutch and English.
- Experience with exports to Maghreb (or Africa in general) is a big plus.
