Your new role
As a Cloud Hosting Engineer, you will join a vibrant team tasked with:
- Cloud System Management: Overseeing the implementation, maintenance, and monitoring of cloud systems, primarily on AWS.
- Project Participation: Collaborating on SaaS projects to define infrastructure needs and select appropriate solutions.
- Security and Efficiency: Ensuring that our cloud deployments are secure, reliable, and efficient.
- Patch Management: Developing and executing a comprehensive patch management strategy, including planning, deployment, and compliance review.
- Security Analysis: Conducting security event analysis, reporting, and incident management.
- Technical Support: Providing troubleshooting and technical support for cloud services to clients and stakeholders.
- Process Improvement: Contributing to IT support processes, including service desk and change management.
- Documentation: Creating and maintaining up-to-date documentation for processes and procedures.
- Technology Evaluation: Assessing and recommending new cloud technologies and best practices.
You will have the opportunity to get extensive coaching and training to help you develop the necessary skills in IT and banking applications.
Your profile
To excel in this role, you should have:
- A degree in computer science or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in cloud hosting, DevOps, or a similar role.
- Fluency in French and/or Dutch, with strong English skills.
- Expertise in cloud computing, including:
- Cloud service models and deployment (Docker, Kubernetes, EKS, etc.)
- Security, business continuity, and compliance management
- Architecture, design, automation, and orchestration
- Migration and integration
- Proficiency with cloud platforms, management tools, programming languages, databases, networking, and security tools.
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a customer-oriented approach and strong team spirit.
